DISCLAIMER. Pursuant to WAC 197-11-420(2), the City has determined to have the Applicant, through its consultant, prepare the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The document attached in the below link is an initial draft of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) prepared by the Applicant’s consultant, DOWL. The City, as the lead agency responsible for the EIS and DEIS, is currently reviewing the initial draft of the DEIS to ensure that it complies with the rules and procedures set forth in SEPA and the applicable provisions of the SVMC. Pursuant to WAC 197-11-455, the City is required to issue a DEIS for review and commenting by various agencies and the public prior to preparation of the final EIS (FEIS). The document below is not being issued for purposes of WAC 197-11-455 at this time and the City is not requesting comments on this preliminary draft. The document below is being provided solely to provide public records of documents received by the City as part of the Painted Hills project. Once the DEIS is completed, the City will issue it pursuant to WAC 197-11-455 and provide notice and an opportunity for review and comment as required pursuant to SEPA.
