What requires a Temporary Sign Permit?

Banners, inflatables, and special event signs per Spokane Valley Municipal Code (SVMC) 22.110.050

Prohibited Signs

Any sign that conflicts with traffic control signs or devices
Flashing signs and portable signs, except A-frame signs specifically allowed pursuant to SVMC 22.110.050(I)
Off-premise signs, except off-premises directional signs allowed pursuant to SVMC 22.110.040(D)
Signs located in the public right-of-way
Signs obstructing visibility within clear-view triangle
Billboards
Abandoned signs and sign structures
