What requires a Temporary Sign Permit?
- Banners, inflatables, and special event signs per Spokane Valley Municipal Code (SVMC) 22.110.050
Prohibited Signs
- Any sign that conflicts with traffic control signs or devices
- Flashing signs and portable signs, except A-frame signs specifically allowed pursuant to SVMC 22.110.050(I)
- Off-premise signs, except off-premises directional signs allowed pursuant to SVMC 22.110.040(D)
- Signs located in the public right-of-way
- Signs obstructing visibility within clear-view triangle
- Billboards
- Abandoned signs and sign structures
